Frustrated
30 Dec 2008
I am so frustrated right now. I have been trying to come up with a new layout ever since I finished with my final exams in November.
This year has been a tough one for me. I had to write my final thesis, which had 60 pages and I had to my final exams, 2 practical exams and an 1 hour oral exam. I passed with flying colours, but only due to learning and working extensively these last months. I barely had any time between trainee-teaching, learning and preparing material for my practial exams. Social life? What's that?
And now that I am done, and probably without a permanent job soon, the stress seems to have robbed my of my creativity. I can't come up with a layout that I remotely like. I can't come up with an idea at all, for that matter.
I look at all these gorgeous layouts on the internet, for example Kakii and think "gorgeous". I so like that layout. But I can't think of a concept for my own layout. I don't want to copy, I want it to be mine.
But I like the creativity, the ability and the practical Photoshop knowledge to do such a layout. I have become really rusty these last months. I have done no manipulations, no resources. *sighs*
To make a long speech short, I am STILL frustrated.
